Help, please

Our lifestyle and what we can offer in the way of Dhamma all depends on what others can offer in the way of help and support.

There are always things to do to maintain the properties and to manage and support the retreats and the work we do.

At the moment we are especially in need of a driver, who has to be a man with a valid driving licence. This could be a live-in position and include help with general management or it could simply be to come along and drive me on my prison visits. We have quite a good car but no one to drive it. Please, if there’s a man out there who could help, please get in touch.

I’m normally out on prison visits three or four days a week and without a driver I’m really in trouble and so is the work that I love.

The post of live-in, driver manager could be a great opportunity for someone keen to develop his practice on the fringe of monastic life.

Dear Bhante,

My name is Tomasz Zuk. I am a 32-year-old Polish geologist living in Coventry. I visited the Vihara a few years ago and we spoke briefly. I have a car and valid driving licence, although I work on weekdays and I sometimes have to study during weekends. Still I would be happy if I could help from time to time.

With respect

Tomasz
